Eden Eternal Hunter Beginners Guide

Eden Eternal, produced by Aeria Games, is now released! Open beta is in full swing and many players are enjoying the freedom and unique game-play the MMO offers. One of the most widely loved characteristic of the game is the fact that any player can level every single class the game has available. Ranging from martial artist, warrior, mage and ranger, each class has its own special abilities and perks (certificates) for leveling up in one specific class.

This is a general hunters guide for those just starting out in the game. It will cover overall summarization of skills, stats and gear. From a beginner to advanced player, the Hunter provides the ease of ranged combat to the stability of having a tank pet.

Once you hit level 10 you can unlock the hunter class and the first few abilities. As you continue to level you will unlock more and more making the class even more powerful. You can pick and choose which skills you want to level. Many players choose to level only the most direct skills such as piercing and chain shot due to the high about of gold it cost to upgrade later in life. Leveling your pet tiger to the highest level available is critical. Not only does it boost your DPS, but will increase your survivability.

Not only are the stats in Eden Eternal(Eden Eternal Gold) a tad more misleading but so is the conversion of those stats. Large amounts of physical attack an a bow for example may only give you a margin of noticeable damage increase. From a hunters standpoint, you want to stack three major attributes: luck, agility, pure attack speed and physical crit damage/chance.

Luck: Increases both physical and magical crit rate as well as increases acuracry (hit rate).

Agility: Increases physical and magical attack with an increase to evasion and parry as well.

Attack Speed: Increases the rate of physical attack.

Crit Damage/Chance: Increases the amount of extra damage done to a target and the chance for that damage to proc.

These are some of the few starting skills you can get while leveling hunter. Again, level what you feel is necessary to progress in leveling. Due to the fact that the game rewards those who level many classes together, a player will run out of currency fast. If you don’t see yourself casting a buff every 30 seconds then skip that skill and save leveling it up for later. The sheer damage combination of your pet and skills allows you to have some flexibility here.

Chain Strike - A normal physical attack that increases with each upgrade. Hits the target 3 times, dealing less damage each strike.

Summon Tiger - Summons a hunting tiger! Also increases your physical attack by 10%.

Wild Stimulation - A 30 second buff which increases your tigers hit and critical chance.

Dazing Pierce - Stacks up to 3 times. Damages an enemy and decreases it’s attack and casting speed

Flash Bomb - Does strong damage to enemy and lowers it hit chance.
