Firstly, the items in cash shop are all obtainable with ingame money and coupla things. In sunstream, you should be opposite to the enchanter Taja and it is the banker. He allows you to purchase Black Prophecy Gold, and vice versa. The rate varies depending on your server. Also, there is a skyblade available via quest, though it only lasts for 3 days. You can do the quest weekly, it's available from the Wind Fairy in sunstream and the blade is useable from L60+

On the other hand, you do not have to have a mount or skyblade in this game, the lands are a reasonable size so you can run it all and classes will have a speed skill. You could buy your first mount after 4 months of playing and you did it strictly for looks. Flying does not have much of a point in this game except for a few quests that arent mandatory. There are no sky mobs like in pwi so a free flying mount that is permanent really is not needed. It is not impossible to play without cash shop just more difficult.
