Black Prophecy North American closed beta begins. Gamigo and Reakktor have posted a news blurb on the game's website officially announcing the start of the North American closed beta today. This is definitely great news for those players who want to play an free-to-play epic space MMO, especially for North American sci-fi Action-MMO fans.

The first thousand invites have been sent out. There are more invites will be sent out very soon and beta key give-aways with selected games press media will also be started.

The focus of this closed beta will be on balancing as well as optimizing the server hardware and software. Gamigo expects Black Prophecy to be ready to go live in North America in a few weeks' time.

It is said that Black Prophecy will present players a complex online universe featuring cinema-quality space battles. A universe in which they fly their spacecraft alone, as a clan member or as part of a fleet as they fight political battles and prove themselves in the fight against extinction at the hands of the aliens.
