Q5. It seems the Tarot Card System is very complicated. Will the system be player-friendly?
A. Because the Tarot Cards System is so unique, it may take some time for players to fully understand all of its uses. However, in-game tutorials and guides on the official Iris Online Website (launching shortly before OBT) should be extremely useful in exploring the full potential of the cards’ powers. There are also tons of great fan-made guides and wikis available for the card system as well!
Q6. What are the PvP settings like in Iris Online?
A. Iris Online features three different PvP modes. The first is Dueling, which is an adorable homage to traditional fighting games. When a duel begins, a Referee Reindeer drops from the sky and counts down to battle meanwhile a special duel UI pops up,(Iris Online Gold) including health bars and character icons.
Iris also has two large scale battle modes that take place on giant platforms floating in the void. The Flagmatch takes all the fun of capture the flag and adds magic into the mix, while the Deathmatch is an all out team vs. team fight to the death.
And to top it off, we also have 3 different zones for world PvP maps where players can complete PvP based quests, and create raid parties to have guild wars.
Q7. Will there be any event during the CBT period?
A. We have run quite a few events that were successful and well-received by our community! There are also many more events planned for this last week of CBT.
One of our most successful events was Race for The Name, in which had players race through levels and reach level 32 first to keep their name for the official launch.
This week we will be running an event called Bird’s Eye View, where GM will post a secret shape on Facebook. Once announced, participants must meet the GM at a secret location and try to replicate the shape using their characters from a “Bird’s Eye View”. The GM will split the team into groups. Depending on the number of participants, we can have up to 2-4 teams. First team to successfully replicate the secret image wins! The prize for winning this event will be awarded to them come OBT.
