Iris Online is the new game being produced by Gpotato and it is currently in closed beta. While its cute graphics may turn a lot of people away, the game is rich with features that a lot of mmos overlook. It even brings some unique ones to the table making the game worth a second look for those initially turned away. 

Once you got past the choice of whether you should be an elf or a hybrid you are able to customize your character to an extent. Beyond that you can actually pick your gender in this game as well. I know, I know, not a big deal, but in more and more games classes or races force you to be one gender or another without much choice. So when I am given a choice in this, I am happy. So for this game I will say it again, I am happy to pick my gender. Moving on from that awkward sentence, the character customization was actually a surprise to me since when I first took a look at the games unofficial wiki to see the hairstyles and classes while the game was patching I thought at first that the colors were static to the hairstyles. Luckily, this isn't the case and you do get to choose between several colors which go for all of the hairstyles and not just the one you had on. Beyond just hairstyles you can choose also choose your characters face. There are a good number to choose from, but the one thing that bothered me about it, was that the eye colors are static per face. So this means if you like the face and shape of the eyes, but not the eye color, you can't do anything about it. Honestly I do expect it from games with cuter style graphics, since it is common, but it would have been nice to have.
