Iris Online will be getting a lot more content in the coming days with the introduction of the Guardian of Light v1.2 update, which is set to launch on July 19th. Publishers Gala-Net are challenging players to defend the world of Arcana from certain doom!
This summer, Arcana will need more defenders than ever as dimensional rifts are tearing open across the world and unleashing evils as part of the Guardian of Light v1.2 update. Gala-Net (Aika Online, Flyff) has not only provided new features for launch, but launch events as well in which you can participate!

For one whole week, players of Iris Online Gold will earn 100% more experience and SXP. That means you will be really cranking out the new levels as the cap has been raised to 70! The drop rate and enhance rate in the online game will also be increased starting tomorrow, July 15th and going until the 17th in the buildup to the launch.

As for the content, well there are more than a couple changes coming. For example, you will have to team up with your friends to defeat the once great Crystalisk, The Guardian of Light. This creature has fallen victim to corruption and now he must be beaten back but this challenge is only for brave of heart.

The Sahar’s Gate will also be providing you with more challenges in the world of Iris Online Gold. You will have to battle wave after wave of powerful monsters in order to seal the gate from which they are pouring out. After each stage, you will receive points and a ranking. You can also get relics and special mounts!

Finally, there are some smaller updates that are designed to improve overall game play in Iris Online. Such things as a new world map to help you see where you are going and a PvP queue system, which will automatically send you to the battlefield once enough players are in line.
