A cute-style 3D online game developed by Eyasoft, Iris Online, beat WOW in Taiwanese market. According to Taiwanese gaming weblog, Gamer.co.tw, Iris and WOW had been competing with each other for weeks for the first place in the chart and Iris Online succeeded in securing the rank, dropping WoW on its second place this week.

It took just about 2 weeks since its beta test began by Runup Game Distribution, which is in charge of publishing Eyasoft’s games in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan market.

“The reception in market is explosive,” said Publishing Manager in Run Up Game Distribution, “Iris Online is a gypsy-themed fantasy MMORPG mixed with good dose of concept of Tarot. The developer tried to mix Tarot Card system (Iris Online Gold)with player interaction in both PvE and PvP and it seems to be working well.”
