Ellan came on LOCO about of September, and unfortunately, just like AAKbah, he's not that much used since he can only be acquired for 6995 AP (cash shop currency), and no other way, except the market where he's overpriced at 20,000 gold (and you get 300 gold per a full 30 minute match, depending on your performance).

Ellan is similar to AAKbah, in the terms of selfbuffs and such, but he's much more MP consuming, though he does have more MP than AAKbah, so it kind of evens itself out, on the longer run.

While Ellan has different stats than most of the heroes, he has a lot of balanced things, while having a focus on strength and max HP. Also, he has a buff which gives him 10/20/30 and up to 40 whooping percent of his max HP more,Loco Gold which is a great thing to make him into a tank.

As you can see, he can't really compare to AAKBah who has currently the most base phys defense out of all the characters, but he can definitely do attack better than him or Partizan for that matter.

The point of this character is to build Ellan's attack, and ocassionally some HP restorative items and defense items, but the main emphasis should be on his physical attack, and the first item you should get in a game is the Vampire Brooch, since it gives you HP based on the damage you inflict on enemies, and as you know, the more damage = the more HP restoring, so you might not even need any HP potions.

Basically, as you can see, Ellan knows how and where to strike, Loco Gold especially when using Break the Weak, Strike of Pain and Rush Of The Monarch, inflicting really heavy damage, especially if you build critical rate items and phys attack ones.
