Remote Assistance from Ahn Lab

For those that are having HackShield problems, Ahn Lab (HackShield development team) can perform remote assistance to help resolve your HackShield error. If you would like help in getting this resolved, Ahn Lab will remotely access your computer to better analyze your specific issue on a one-on-one basis. They will not be gathering personal information from your computer under any circumstances.

1. Go to Customer Support <click here>

2. Select Maple Story mesos from "Game Select"

3. Select Tech Support/Bug Report from "Category"

4. Select Installation from "Sub-Category"

5. Type HackShield Remote Assistance in the "Subject"

6. Provide the following information in the "Description" text box

By submitting a ticket, you are agreeing to the following terms:

1. You acknowledge that Ahn Lab shall be responsible for the remote access to repair the problem with your computer. Nexon shall only act as the ?middleman? in this situation in that it?s only job in this process is to pass information to Ahn Lab and you shall not consider Nexon the primary problem solver or facilitator for your computer through the remote access procedure.

2. You shall provide the information requested to Nexon that will be needed to fix your computer by submitting a ticket and Nexon shall provide that information to Ahn Labs in order to solve your problem. You agree that the information you provide shall be a true and accurate statement of the problem and shall not mislead or prevent Ahn Lab from solving your problem in Maple Story mesos.

3. You acknowledge that in the event there is damage to your computer as a result of this service, you agree that Nexon shall not be held liable for any damages or changes in your computer and you shall not look to Nexon to compensate you or make any restitution for any damages of any kind in this situation. In the event of a problem, your only remedy is to deal directly with Ahn Lab.

4. You acknowledge that in the process of fixing the problem of your computer, Nexon and Ahn Lab may have access to private information contained inside your computer and you shall not hold Nexon liable in the event that said private information is retrieved, whether by accident or otherwise and/or disseminated in Maple Story mesos.

5. Neither Nexon nor Ahn Lab warrants or guarantees that your problem will be fixed by using this remote access procedure nor shall they guarantee that there will not be any more problems in the future, whether new or derived from the original problem.
