Every Wednesday during the month of March, the team from Mytheon will provide us with three new screenshots from their upcoming MMO.

True Games Interactive has announced that the Mytheon beta servers are down for extended maintenance, for those of you out there wondering why you can’t log in. The game will return to service tomorrow at 8PM CST.

The maintenance has been scheduled to address some show stopping bugs such as game access issues and crashes.

Unfortunately, player data will also be wiped in order to implement fixes to the aforementioned issues. Though, it should be noted that True Games Interactive does not take such a decision lightly, offering a brief explanation, which you can read below Mytheon Gold:

Occasionally, during a Closed Beta Test, it becomes necessary to clear character data to better optimize the live game service for its upcoming commercial launch. You have our word that we will only take this action when it’s necessary. We understand that it is an interruption of your game play and apologize for the inconvenience. We are confident that this update will bring a better game play experience for all of our players in Mytheon.

True Games Interactive has announced that the Closed Beta for their upcoming mythology themed MMOG Mytheon, is now underway.

While the beta is technically a closed beta, it sounds like anyone can receive a key simply by signing up at the official Mytheon website.

Mytheon will also be on display at this year’s GDC, so stay tuned for more information!

UPDATE: It has been brought Mytheon Gold to our attention that it may take applicants up to one week to receive their beta key. It should also be noted that there is an NDA in effect.
