Masthead Studios are pleased to announce that they will launch the colsed beta of Earthrise. They will begin recruiting closed beta testers in the end of December. The schedule for the upcoming performance tests have not confirmed. If you want to join the CBT, please stay tuned.
Good news! We are happy to announce that we are ready to take the next step in this exciting process by gathering our beta audience. Starting end, Masthead Studios will begin collecting player information and will request that players submit their beta applications.
Additionally, we are happy to report that there are no major delays in the development process and we are extremely proud of everything that we have achieved so far. Through the help of a very dedicated tem and the wealth of useful feedback on game features that we have received from the Earthrise forums, we have managed to stay very close to our projected development deadlines.
We realize that many of you can not wait to experience all that the island of Enterra has in store, but more important is remembering that beta is a time for fixing bugs and gameplay issues. Successful development depends on valuable feedback throughout this process so that we can tweak and make change to better benefit the game and the player's experience.
There will be several stages of beta invites so if you do not make it into our first round, do not be discouraged; we will be coming back for you! Currently in our plans, we will begin with a small friends and family stage and then prepare Earthrise Credits to move into our first round of closed beta which will be limited as the selection process will be made according to the testing needs of the game.
As we move forward into the beta process, we look to the community for continued support and patience as we work to bring you the best version of the game we are capable of creating.
